Circle relationship with Catalyst Proposals

ChessherJoey commented 2 years ago

After Meeting with: Mentors Felix, Tevo and Stephen: This is Closed and should move to Community Issues as it will be an ongoing item that we will need to monitor.

Comments:

61 Circle Relationships with Catalyst Proposals: - https://github.com/Catalyst-Circle/Catalyst-Prioritized-Problems/issues/61

This arose from a discussion in CCv2 between Allison , Tevo and myself on what proposals Circle should support or sponsor. (see also https://app.gitbook.com/o/ErcRLI19TPuGM7zNNFH7/s/sqy9gWQYpeZTX1BzTxm5/ccv2-meetings/meeting-3-december-9th-2021#criteria-for-which-proposals-should-be-catalyst-sponsored-42-08 )

We drew up a list of F7 proposals here (https://github.com/Catalyst-Circle/Catalyst-Prioritized-Problems/issues/66) and reviewed what should and should not be supported as Circle.

In my view Problem #61 is a legacy issue that should be closed or moved to “Community Issues” (see Community Issues)

Since its been closed by the opener, its closed here

Thanks for reopening this @stephan-rowan If I had closed it I was just going through the cards and saw it was closed and had closed it. This needs to be addressed further.

Recommended Status: Moving to Community issues for ongoing monitoring.

Stephen Clarified above: That this Item was specific to 'Should the Circle support specific proposals' This was completed but never moved across the board to competition.

If the Circle wishes to redefine this Prioritized Item's Scope / Goal then I'm OK with that. But as CCv3 I have no ideas of where to take this.
