OBS Cam on Zoom (Start/Stop Screen) #126

Hi! I'm a corporate trainer and plan to use OBS for corporate training programs so I can show PPT presentations with my video feed. I've downloaded and installed the latest releases of OBS, Zoom, and OBS Virtual Cam. I'm opening programs/processes in this order:

  1. OBS
  2. Start Virtual Cam
  3. Open Zoom
  4. Choose OBS Virtual Camera

The problem I've been getting is that all I get is this screen: image

I have tried to:

  1. Uninstall - There was no "plugins" folder in Application Support/obs-studio. All I see are plugin_config and profiler_data. So I just uninstalled OBS
  2. Instead I searched for the "obs-mac-virtualcam.plugin" and copied and pasted it into a "plugins" folder I created in application support/obs-studio.
  3. I uninstalled and reinstalled OBS, Obs virtual cam plugin, zoom, etc.

Help please! I need to be able to use this all the video conferencing apps (MS Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, Skype, etc.). I can only do very simple troubleshooting on my own system.

Currently on a Macbook pro 2015 running on OSX Catalina 10.15.6

I got rid of mine by going into /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL and /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/FCP-DAL and deleting obs-mac-virtualcam.plugin/ like this: sudo rm -rf obs-mac-virtualcam.plugin/ and also this: sudo rm -rf EcammLiveVirtualCam.plugin/ then restarting zoom
