Adapter warping and cracking #1

Hi Chris,

Appreciate the work on this and providing the files. I had the adapter printed using ASA 0.01" resolution, installed it, and had it running for a few minutes.

However, a few days later I tried running it on NG, noticed the engine couldn't run steadily with eco mode on. Previously I had it running with eco off.

I took it apart and noticed that the adapter was warped and cracked, which is probably why the generator was struggling.

I was curious if you noticed anything similar or maybe the variance is in the resolution of your print and filament choice (ABS I believe?).

Hello, I haven't used ASA myself but I understand it's supposed to be a superior material. I have used ABS and I printed at .2mm layer height. I know that I have had marginal results with ABS unless using a fully enclosed printer. I'm not an expert on printing but with the open frame printer I have now I would go with PETG. Hope that helps.
