Fafnir taboo discourages good game muscle memory #1717

Always put all your coins in your bag if you have a bag. This is ingrained in the muscle memory of an experienced player. This taboo makes this spirit pretty much unusual for people that play and do inventory management without thinking.

Not a bug, and being restrictive is rather the point of spirit taboos. That being said, do you have any restricitve-and-on-theme ideas for a replacement taboo?

Simply carrying/wearing a gold item would be too easy to keep, in my opinion.

I still lean towards "Fafnir should be replaced" :D

Like as a Spirit of the Near void? Major points of Fafnir that I see:

1) the name Fafnir and associations thereof (mark, taboo, binding ritual) 2) Fire resistance 3) Pickaxe skill 4) Infravision 5) +Carrycap 6) Fire passive attack 7) ability: stinking cloud 8) ability: untrap tile / damage monster / kill golems
