Weapons & Shields: Create names based on rarity #442

General thoughts and comments:

Maybe it's enough to use more general names like "common" axe, "advanced" flail, "legendary toxic bow"... something like that. Only great weapons have their own names - like "Anduril" or "Glamdring"

I want to have special weapons with unique modifiers, but I haven't fleshed things out enough yet.

Hey Chris, basically I like the idea of more personalized weapons/shields. With names or with slots for gems. But it's already yet a pain when you lose your powerful hard-won equipment at the end of a run when you die. Even more when it's adapted to your own style of play. So for me the question is always - does it make the gameplay or the atmosphere better. In case of slots & gems this has to be tested. Haven't missed that feature yet - but maybe I don't want to miss it when it's implanted. ;)
