New Zealand and error 0xffff #54

Hello everyone
I live in New Zealand and i tried Stream baby today and followed all the 
instructions to make it work but I was unable to play any kind of video on 
tivo. I tried different formats like avi. mpg. mkv. mp4(video) but every 
time i select the video it comes up with a error- 0xffff on the tivo 
device. PLEASE HELP ME.........................

I had the same error. A TiVo reboot solved the issue.

i tried the reboot but it didn't help...................please help me

Look at bug #28--  TiVo Australia/New Zealand made some changes awhile ago that 
broke
streambaby on those units.  Unless something has changed that I am not aware of,
streambaby doesn't work on Australian/New Zealand units.

Only if the people who broke it in the first place (TiVo) tells me how, or 
fixes the
TiVo software :-)

I'm not even sure it can be fixed without a TiVo software upgrade.

Maybe someone in Australia/New Zealand can figure it out without TiVo's help, 
but
right now no one knows how.

so does anyone knows any other way how to stream movies from your PC to Tivo 
instead of 
transferring them.????????????
