Transferring management to a company #57

A few months ago issue #56 was created as a result of the publication of the CityZen app on Google PlayStore from someone that claimed that the app was theirs.

A few days ago, the local contributors from Tirana held a meeting in order to discuss the possibility of having Collective68 as the legal owner/manager of the CityZen project.

We discussed and decided to have C68 (which is a registered company in Albania) as the legal entity behind the project and create a board or council which will be consisted of both C68 representatives and community members (aka contributors). So far, this is the main idea but we still need ideas and suggestions on the implementation. For example, yet we did not decide on the percentage of council members that will be C68 representatives, the election mechanism or the duration of someone's position on the council.

Any suggestion is more than welcomed!

As I mentioned during our meeting the idea here is not to reinvent the wheel, but to find a governance structure from other organizations and adapt it to our needs. Anything comes to mind?

I did some research today and it seems that openSUSE has quite a good governance and management system for the community: https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:How_to_participate

Just found this "Collection of data about open source governance models" by @cornelius: https://cornelius.github.io/open-source-governance/. Quite useful to take a decision.
