Which version are you using? A bug has been recently fixed (f5c20965ac6b644ac2c20567c112cab2404ac45f) so it may be related.
That’s so great! The latest version includes the direction of the cuboid?
I mean the export file include the cuboids and the direction of them, eg, the head of a car

I have used the latest 2.11.alpha. But I find that, it still can't satisfy my needs. Let me discribe my requirement for example. First I draw a box, and its vertex coordinates are (1,1,1),(-1,1,1),(-1,1,1),(-1,-1,1),(1,1,-1),(-1,1,-1),(-1,1,-1),(-1,-1,-1). Then I rotate the box and the vertex coordinates change to be (1,0,1),(-1,0,1),(0,1,1),(0,-1,1),(1,0,1),(-1,0,1),(0,1,1),(0,-1,1). At last I save the box and the cloud in the box. Then I review the box I just draw, the box sames to be not like (1,0,1),(-1,0,1),(0,1,1),(0,-1,1),(1,0,1),(-1,0,1),(0,1,1),(0,-1,1). The tools I use is "segment", "Rectangular selection", then draw the box, “√”. On the left, in "DB Tree", choose the cloud, "corss section", rotate the box, "Slices-Export the selection as a new cloud", "×". On the left, in "DB Tree", review the new cloud, the box does not change to the position I rotated.
It sounds like your expecting the new bounding box created during extraction to match the clipping volume you used for extraction. Am I correct or is there a misunderstanding?

Oh, I thought you were referring to the (virtual) "box" of the cross section tool even for your first "box". There's no relationship between this virtual cutting box and any other box you could have defined with an earlier tool (and this part still confuses me, because the only other "box" you could define in CC is the primitive "box" with the "Primitive factory" tool...
