Thanks @rinse0ut for agreeing to do an introduction to React for this session! Check out (in double sense) https://github.com/codehuborg/react-lab.

If you would like to work with somebody on something - could also be pair programming - or have otherwise suggestions, or resources you find helpful/interesting, please post in reply to this.

Good session today, thanks for the excellent ReactJS talk, @rinse0ut !!

I looked into the ReactJSTraining material. There's lots of it but it took me a while to feel my way into it.

The main page at https://github.com/ReactJSTraining/react-subjects has instructions on how to clone the repo and start a local node web server to explore the examples and work on the problems.

But to find the notes, you need to drill down a bit further from there into the subjects. The introduction is at: https://github.com/ReactJSTraining/react-subjects/blob/master/subjects/01-hello-world/notes.md (This is also there if you clone the repo, but GitHub renders the markdown nicely.)

Further material is in lecture.js in each chapter, for example: https://github.com/ReactJSTraining/react-subjects/blob/master/subjects/02-rendering/lecture.js - or open in your editor from your cloned repo.

Thanks very much @rinse0ut for the great talk. Also, everybody who came, really enjoyed the session again.

Have to check out ReactJSTraining!

The ReactKS slideshow was impressive :+1: Thanks @rinse0ut for sharing.

Just read this on my phone (just the introductory text, not the code examples so far) and thought it was really interesting https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2016/03/server-side-rendering-react-node-express/

I'll try and get the presentation on the repo soon, I just need to check the copyright on the images.

Here's a cool FYI. Guess what technology is trending at the moment on Stack Overflow!?
