Main points I drew out were – JS landscape in rapid growth/change period – Compared to mature platforms, expect buggy libraries and frameworks, updates with breaking changes etc. – From responses: ideally know the language well first, jumping in with framework is a difficult way to learn

Or, maybe, just maybe, the Javascript world will always be sort of a joke, a place where engineering hipsters go to waste time and feel like they’re on the cutting edge of innovation when really, they are living in a world of madness and chaos, throwing hours of productivity down the drain so that they can use the latest and ‘greatest’ tools out there.
