[BUG]: Double Spaced Collection Tags #301

Open dodecaphone opened 2 weeks ago

dodecaphone commented 2 weeks ago

Mandatory

Describe the bug:

When matching with GEVI, the collection tag is double and sometimes triple spacing words. For example, "Helix Studios" is becoming "Helix _Studios" and "Next Door Studios" is becoming "Next _Door __Studios" (Where underscores are spaces since bbcode is ignoring the second spaces in the example)

Specific Agent(s) Causing the Issue:

GEVI

Could you send the agent log rather than the logs you have sent. if using Windows they will be found in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs\PMS Plugin Logs Also a screen shot would help me identify where the issue is.... Cheers Jason

I added the Plugin logs for GEVI the day I opened the ticket is there a specific one you're looking for besides the GEVI logs?

I will take a screenshot the next time it happens.

JPH71 commented 2 weeks ago

Just the gevi log for the offending film

It was previously attached; but it's all films from (so far) those studios who create the odd spacing. When I go into the tags, it's trying to name it "|4| Helix _Studios"

JPH71 commented 2 weeks ago

What was attached was other films... What I need you to do is delete the logs then scrape the film that has the issue - so that I have the logs for the particular film.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your request. The GEVI agent is still not working. I needed to manually change the double-space to single spaces for Helix and NDS so my OCD wouldn't drive me up a wall.

The example I recently gave (Twinkey Boy) is one I have not manually fixed yet and I sent the logs for this studio in the previous post.

JPH71 commented 1 week ago

Well from your last email, you intimated that you had used a different agent to fix the issue. That's why I asked for the logs for that one. All the agents share the sane utility, so it would be easier for me to find where stuff went wrong for Gevi...

@dodecaphone Hi Sam, looks like your GEVI log in your original post didn't come thru for @JPH71 Jason, but it did on my end. I've forwarded the log to him.

Cheers!

Thanks Cody! I thought I was going crazy.

JPH71 commented 1 week ago

You sent me the Gevi one last time as I requested... You said that with another agent it worked correctly.. So I asked you to also send that log so I can compare and contrast...

Jason,

I never said it worked with another agent. Where are you seeing that?

edit: also, adding ellipses (...) at the end of every one of your lines makes it seem like you're being condescending. I'm sure it's not that, but just letting you know.

JPH71 commented 1 week ago

this is what I understood... my mistake...

When you see a |4| in front of the sort title.... This is used to arrange the collections, so that you have stacked/unstacked first, followed by agents etc.. I am going to work on the collections this week to improve them as sometimes it creates the collection twice... I was looking for code to unlock the metadata fields as I think this is where the issue is - I will also look at the issue you have... If you can take a snapshot of the collections properties this would also help - a picture is sometimes worth a thousand words... So sorry for the misunderstanding!! I am famous for stepping on the toe, with the bunions....
