Hi, you mean something like this ?
if this is the case you'll have to check if the rotated headstage ring obstruct the assembly movement
Custom_weissShahaf.zip Uploaded here the rotated heastage ring, i will probably have no time to check, both the inventor file and the step file are here, print it and let me know, the ring is parametrized in rotation (last parameter) so you can rotate it how you want
thank for the quick reply. but no i meant 90 degrees in the horizontal plane. so that if we implant a NP 2.0 with the shanks arranged anterior -posterior, the headstage would stick out AP and not to the left or right,
No problem, Ok now i get it, seems a quick fix, if rotated it will be lower in height no ? Describe it better how you picture this even with paper its fine
I was hoping for something better, what are the point of connection here, should i increase the surface ? i think the ring has to connect in something stable enough so i was thinking to put it lower. It's probably a good idea and a quick fix but placing the ring there is gonna be not as stable as we wish
ok. thanks anyway
BTW, we're using a modification of the original design, with increased surface area for the headstage (found it a bit wobbly). which is only 0.1g heavier due to a "cheese holes pattern". now with the tilted ring, it also protects the wire nicely:
Dear Devs,
is it possible to have a version of the Mouse_FreelyMoving "NP2_SingleProbeDockingWithHeadstage_FullyParameterised.ipt" with a 90 rotated headstage-holding ring? for case where we want to implant the probes rotated AP, but not have the headstage sticking out side ways?
