Allow shortcodes on static front page #294

I have a standard WP page set as my site's front page. This page has a shortcode in it but it is not displayed (It just shows the text of the shortcode code). If I switch the front page to be a new page as a test, the first page now shows the shortcode properly, and the new page's shortcodes now don't display. Whichever page is set as the front page doesn't interpret shortcodes properly. Please allow shortcodes on every page, this is standard wordpress functionality.
