I would like to have a pause feature

I just started riding my bike on a trail and I love using mytracks.  It is 
awesome program.
I am on call sometimes though and get paged while riding.  I would like to be 
able to pause my tracking so it doesn't effect the total time and then resume 
when I am done fixing the problem that I get paged about.  I don't like to stop 
recording and have to start a new one as it doesn't look as good on the map(s). 

Unless I can somehow add tracks together and it will combine all the stats?  I 
just found the aggregated statistics.  Very nice.  Wish I could export that 
somehow to my email though or send it someway.

If there are a settings like this already sorry for mentioning it.  

The program is still great though and will be using it a lot.
