Supergiant's Hades switch from c# to c++, any more detail please! #289

As metioned in README.md, Hades has swtiched to a new engine for nintendo switch realease(or more cross platform dev).

Was Hades developed with MonoGame before, and then turned to a new C++ based cross platform engine?

Furthermore, was the original C# run-time code retained to interact with new C++ engine, or just completely ported to C++ run-time code?
