Add tab styling to the top menu #101

This was an idea that came up in Ian's and my work on Sunday, sparked by a comment from Ian's wife, Christina.

There are also many positional tweaks (padding, margins) to make it all work at the full range of screen sizes.

Yet more tweaks in the order and names of menu items and the size of the Groups icon.
