Fluid Pipes Selectively Not Working

Describe the Bug

I am attempting to use fluid pipes to create an infinite lava generator, however they refuse to pull lava from cauldrons. I have a different set of pipes for water and they are functioning fine. It is not an issue with the mechanical pumps, the power source, or range. I have tried everything I could thing of and google has been little help. I have connected the piping to the bottom, the sides, even the top and noting has worked. The only thing I can imagine is some possible other mod have an issue, as there are many.

Reproduction Steps

Connect piping to a fluid tank from a cauldron filled with lava.
Place mechanical pump and provide power.

Expected Result

I expected for the lava to transfer from the cauldron, through fluid pipes to the tank, as it has in every tutorial video I watched.
