Feature: Loader library #42

Loading the data structure from the XML into some reasonable Python library would be a nice little script to have.

@pettter this reads quite intriguing. Is the goal to interface with the Python-based Music21?

Unless Python is essential for this or some other reason, CytoscapeJS is an excellent graph analysis library in JS.

Thanks for the link! The reason for working with Python is mainly that more people in the field seem to know that (and Music21 in particular) than JS, but integrating with Cytoscape absolutely seems like a good option for those so inclined.

@petter in case it may be of interest, a discussion on importing MEI data into music21 is now unfolding in the music21 forum. Perhaps worth keeping an eye on (though nothing groundbreaking so far).
