First of all, thanks for noticing!
Second, I have no clue why lvm2
is required here at all. As far as I can tell we only use dmsetup
, which is in its own package (that lvm2
depends on). I propose therefore to throw out the lvm2
dependency and use the smaller dmsetup
one instead.
Unless there's something I'm missing, @markvdb ?
Just ran through my first attempt to build from scratch and the only thing missing from my Debian install that wasn't listed was lvm2
