Staging on undocking ship on the fly not to be reconfiguring #4

I can add new stage, but can not move engines on this new stage. Also can not remove empty stage

I've seen this happen, but have no idea what is really causing it. I found that I could fix it by pressing the stage group icon to toggle the stage info readout, or press the total vessel dV icon at the bottom of the stage list. Or by switching vessels.
