Hello everyone. Recently I have encountered with the model blow up issue. I want to couple wrf and roms using coawst (MCT) and add tidal forcing.

I have checked the points where abnormal speeds occur. Here are the specific plots for the rst file and the v variable. However, in the plot, it appears that only one point in the u variable exceeds 100. What should I do to address this?

I modified theta_s, theta_b, and N and tried again. This time the model blew up after eight hours, but still, there is only one extreme point in the speed, and it occurs across all layers. image image

In the "u" figure, the abnormal point only appears in the bottom layer. And the magnitude is smaller compared to v.

How should I go about solving this issue?

have you corrected this ? you could look at the bathy at that point, the boundary forcing data, etc.
