Similarly to the original readout reorganization and functionality separation, I would strongly suggest to maintain the original idea and move the plugin base classes:
RawDataHandlerBase.hpp
FakeCardReaderBase.hpp
... to their corresponding datahandlingmodules package.
Or consider the reintroduction of readoutmodules, that will rely on datahandlinglibs.
