This is admittedly somewhat offtopic for this extension, but I'll admit I thought the "4" was a counter... xD
Took me a minute to figure out this was an IPv4/6 detector. I don't use an IPv6 gateway and the authoritative word is that residential IPv6 where I live isn't 100%, so... eheheh.

Anyway. Just a thought.

I imagine other people who've tried this extension might have the same brainderp I did and roughly presume the same thing I did, so I figured I'd say something. :)

Hm... well, I specifically wrote it as a v4/6 detector, and it does say as much in the AMO description. It's 2015, get a better ISP already :-)

I'd be open to having this as an optional, non-default alternative, but I probably won't actually implement it unless it turns out tons of people want it.

You make a valid point, thanks for being nice about it. ;P

I've actually asked the only ISP in Australia doing residential v6 at the moment... they were completely honest about it, their implementation is officially "experimental". Sometimes it falls over, nobody knows why. So everyone gets shared v4+v6 and the cycle continues. :(

. o O ( I'm sure commercial v6 is perfectly stable. Meh. )
