Thematic Disconnects In Various Materials Processing #1665

Issue / Bug

The issue is that while the early game recipes and processing methods are fantastically designed, some of them get dated as you approach the mid to late game of the pack, and NEVER see an upgrade. For example you still making glass in a Stoked Crucible even in the Creative Age, which is fine mechanically (as in you don't need that much glass / clay blocks / etc.) but it leads to a thematic disconnect as you have a stoked crucible next to your solar system rocket. Or that your Mekanism sawmill factory can't process logs into planks, and so to automate planks you still need to use the BWM watermill.

If I may, I would also add to that list the ability to crush dyes in the Mekanism Crushers.

The ability to make quartz enriched iron in the metallurgic infuser would make sense as well, as at the moment, it can only be made in the arc furnace

Recipes which have had an improvement over updates.

Nether Brick and Brick are under review 🙂
