Clause 6.6.8 is silent about the duration of CMAF Presentation, but in clause 7.3.6 the definition is provided as an ill formulated requirement: "The duration of a CMAF presentation shall be the duration of its longest CMAF track". It better said that the duration of a CMAF presentation is the duration of its longest CMAF track as a definition. Even that is unclear as it does not clarify what this means. For the mapping to DASH, the video track is assumed to be the master and hence, the Period duration is determined by the duration of the CMAF video track.
We believe that the CMAF Presentation duration should be a definition and that the definition should be changed to aligned with the duration of the video track.
