I came across this tool from a presentation that was a few years old - it sounded like a great approach and very simple to follow, so I was going to try it out.

Are you still using this tool/approach now? Would you consider it "active"? It hasn't had a release in a long time and there are commits to master but equally the process itself seemed pretty simple so perhaps none of that is unexpected...

I am not using this at the moment since I'm not using Consul anymore. Neither of them are bad tools it's just not needed in my current environment.

I'm not sure about Datadog to be honest.
