Should profile instances with missing (i.e. null/NaN) data points be allowed? #1268

I think it might provide more useful profiles, as they won't entirely fail if there are NaN values, but then comes a couple of questions:

How does fitting models to the profiles go from there? Do we just ignore the NaN values?
What would be the best way to highlight the missing data on profile visualisations? Just big red columns in radius maybe?
