10:30 arrived at the beamline workstation. Still not ready.

14:30ish - heard that should check in the morning on the 21st

resumed on Wednesday the 26th.

• fixed wrong commissioning directory issue
• fixed java = hdf5 binding issue
• scanned the default sample and emitted nxs documents

had to maneuver around 6 screens

• terminal
• panda web gui
• k8s web gui with pod logs
• stopflow code preview and vim edit
• scripts client preview to see the methods
• jython console

the scientists expressed support for a gui to create metadata rather than a jython terminal. That led to a discussion of the lims system

plan for 27.06.2024 after discussion with @callumforrester

• try scans with the xrays
• use the simple chemical samples
• iterate on the nxs filewriting schema and metadata parsing
• use the beamtime to the fullest

afterthought: experiment was a success, especially the panda plans reloading.
