Feature request: Merge pr to add search engine suggestions from custom search engines

Hey, for a long time there has been the issue of search engine suggestions not working for custom search engines on firefox mobile:

• starting with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=852608
• and now currently on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1807573

@ajhall made a pr to add such a feature: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/pull/25402

Perhaps you could merge that into Mull, as it doesnt seem like mozilla is ever going to implement that

it looks like it hasn't been updated in 10 months and likely won't apply without rework
