tf2 crashes when clicking craft, or clicking notifications #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. put in 2 items, click craft, tf2 stops responding
2. when you receive a notofication and press j to see it, you crash

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest version (20?), win 7

Please provide any additional information below.

recently reinstalled tf2, fresh clean copy, drfragged gcfs

do you have any idea what could be causing this?

lol this was like 5 versions ago, and it's not happening any more

however this latest version, my endround scoreboard/mvp list is all messed up, 
no score #s, and the box is somewhat weird looking too

That has happened to me a couple times and I never figured out what caused it 
(never been able to replicate the problem in a testing environment). Does it 
happen frequently for you?

it only happened to me that one time, but your next version fixed it. (the 
crash)

the endround scoreboard being messed up is still happening, even after 
reinstalling the hud, red 1920x1080

Hm well maybe you can help me diagnose the problem. Does it happen every single 
time? Are you running minmode 1 or 0? When you play, do you record demos or 
refresh your HUD often?

minmode 1, happens every time endround scoreboard pops up, i refresh my hud 
occasionally when speccing, the previous verisons didnt show the scoreboard 
this messed up, only since beta 25
