would be great if it can be implemented:

when a file reaches the final page - closing the reader triggers a status change from "in progress" to "read".

great work on the plugin - much appreciated!

Do you know of any other plugins that do something based on where you are in PDF reader? That'd be helpful for me to base this off.

I'm not aware, alas. Your plugin is the first/only one of its kind in documenting the read status. 👍
