Hi
Do you mean PIR sensor? No. If PIR I run tests for couple of month before ordering them. do you use battery power? or AC- DC power supply?
acutally i tried all possible methods.
now just 2* 1.5V AA batteries directly connected to sensor, a capacitor and just looking output REL on voltmeter.
i got 10 samples almost every is broken
Same S16-L201D? it is really hard to solder. Many have been broken while soldering . also if I used small square lens and was trying to remove it I usually brake it physically . it is fragile. maybe you have broken one?
no thats not the point, i am soldering down to 0201 with my eyes :-)
i actually found the problem, they are not pyhsically broken, there just too sensitive. not everyone from the beginning, but they got more and more sensitive

so i will switch over to L221D
wow 0201! :)
Have you bought directly from SENBA? I checked test sensors log down for a couple of days. Have few with logs. No false positives during nights so far. 4- 6 month old devices.
well i need propably at least 10k of them. but the "broken" ones are also responsive for shaking in a black box ;o
okay, but box could be warmer at some places and colder at the others. Since there is no lens it could probably pickup temperature difference? fix it inside and close box so the are not moving against each other. and shake. My tigers up when I moved it around notebook.
did u have no problems with the sensor itself?
we tested a lot of them and they start to fail soon with false positives.
