Assign this to me. I will be happy to clean up the code.

I am very new to this project and working on this issue will help me to understand the project more.

eddiejaoude commented 1 year ago

Sure, I have assigned it to you @raviraj-github 👍

Well, I just saw this in the last release, and I'm using the single-user mode, sorry for not reacting earlier. Was merged quite fast 😭

eddiejaoude commented 1 year ago

Oh no, I didn't realise anyone was using this. Why don't you use the platform version, you get all the latest features?

Pierstoval commented 1 year ago

Because I want to self-host it and use my own http server to track usage :) the project being open source with a permissive license allowed that, but now that the feature is gone, I'm gonna stick to the latest available "single user mode" version.

I just wanted a free and open source simple personal LinkTree alternative, and LinkFree was perfect for that :)

Don't enforce yourself to re-add the feature, if I'm the only person using it, that's fine, considering the amount of people using the platform version 👍

We do have stats if that is what you are looking for? But let us know what else is missing from you using the platform and we can try to add those features in

Mostly, ownership of my own instance is what I'm looking at, and platform cannot provide this by design 😉
