stable Edirom-Online releases with coherent version numbers should be promoted. Moreover I'd suggest introducing gitflow for code management purposes and better repo overview.

As it turns EO customizations for specific projects do both, rely on the plugin mechanism and for worse have modify the codebase without issuing proper pull requests... We need documentation of the plugin mechanism and clear feature analysis of the EO-mods out there! And of course development guidelines...

The current plugin mechanism will more or less be deprecated due to the security implications of an open REST-Interface. Stable version numbers and publications are in place.
