'(' doesn't work

When i want to write the character '(' or ')' with Cell or MultiCell, pyfpdf 
shows '\(' instead

Please, can you test:

txt2=txt.replace('\\','\\\\').replace(')','\\)').replace('(','\\(')

Parenthesis seems to be special characters here.
