Microphone not working with Scratch - how to enable? #31

My son is learning scratch, and we tried to record a sound but it is coming up that scratch does not have access to the microphone.

I have looked around on the desk top and in raspi-config and I can't see anything related to microphone setup.

Through the command line I typed "arecord -l" and no capture devices are listed.

According to the specifications a microphone is included, but it does not look to be activated by default.

Can you please advise how to get the microphone working with Scratch.

Missed in the manual you need to plug in the microphone and camera with the USB cable inside the Raspberry Pi area. Plugged it in and works fine.
