Thanks for your work on this project. I have all the standard compatible onnx voices downloaded from hugginface but can not use them with this implementation.

I tried altering the data in config/speech-dispatcher/modules/piper.conf to point to my preferred voice but this is rejected by speechd. AFAIK, out of nearly 30 choices, there are only two download options for UK/US voices in the pied app, why is this?

I really want to use the Alba voice (en_GB-alba-medium.onnx) how do I do this?

Hi @TheOriginalNedKelly,

The next release (version 0.2) should support all of the 1.0 voices (currently it's only the v0.2 voices that are supported). I'll update this issue when it's released.

Thanks for getting back to me. Will check my bookmark to github regularly. This is an awesome project. I can not understand why it has not been spotted by others and plastered all over social media. You are a legend! Ned.

You sir, are a legend.

I have no idea why your work is not more widely noticed. Thanks again, Ned On Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 7:30 PM, Mike Sheldon @.***> wrote:

Thanks! It's always nice to hear when someone's enjoying something I've worked on :)
