Experiment: Can we use conductive paint in the wood to create volumetric circuit ?

I am currently using 0.2mm cable to conduct electricity and soldering in my current project. But that a pain in the ass to use for production because of the time and precision required.

So the idea would be to try with conductive paint, three options:

• Bare Conductive Ink

• Do it yourself

• Gallium Conductive Ink

The idea seem good. So I will try to see what we can do about it.

• And classic pencil powder

• Conductive test:
  • Press with spoon. More your press more conductive it will be
  • 2-3 ohm / cm
  • Not pressed by spoon
  • 10-40 ohm
  • Use two layer

Ultrafine Graphite Sodium Silicate

• 7 ohm/cm
• Good but flexible
• How to make some
  • 1-2 cm of Silicate in a plastic glass
  • More you add silicate for liquid it come but less conductive.
  • 7-8 gram of graphite
  • Is water proof
  • How water resistance the paint is ?
  • If you want it a bit less jelly you can add a bit of water glass (= silicate)
  • For better conductivity apply two layer
