4 years ago I see this too. Thanks for reporting. Most likely an initialization bug - bookmarking peaks and checking their mass tolerance also shows this error:

I think there is a bug with the m/z window setting, perhaps at initialization.
I opened a new session and noticed that it was set to 5 ppm in the top right corner box. However, EICs pulled from the compound widget were pulled with a window of 10 ppm. Very strangely, they were bookmarked with a 5 ppm window for the slice (but not for the integration), which was easily recognizable as "floating circles" in the bookmarked group.
Things seem normal if I just adjust the setting and then change it back to either 5 or 10.
Edit to add: I get this in 0.12 but not 0.8
