Invalid size file?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. load a small zipped rom
2. error message: invalid size file

What version are you using? On GameCube or Wii?

whenever i try to open a small rom like 'chessmaster' or 'frogger', it says
'error:invalid size file' - however the game works if it's unzipped, but
that's a mess

it also happens on fceu but it's absurd to copy-paste the same issue there

Just had this issue today on wii.  I updated snes9x and everything and it still 
says invalid file size.  please fix this issue
