Loading a HDF in WiiUAE #61

Hello there, i am currently running version 9 of WiiUAE on my Nintendo Wii
Homebrew. I am mainly using the emulator to play SWOS 96/97 very succesfully
via use of ADF in DF0 and DF1. However, there is an online SWOS community who
offer free 2012/2013 team and player update data which can be downloaded and
installed. Using an ADF editor i have managed to replace 90% of the required
data within the ADF, but unfortunately run out of space and exceed the 880KB
limit. Ive tried various workarounds and unfortunately have come to dead ends
each time.

This is when a nice member of the online SWOS community posted me a HDF version
of the game, including SWOS 2012 player and team data. Apparantly the file
works seamlessly on WinUAE, however this is where my problem lies. I cannot
figure out how to boot HDF files as games on WiiUAE. There must be some way, as
I keep reading the program now supports HDF. Can anybody please point me in the
right direction? I need to be explained in very simple beginners terms!

My regards in advance, and keep up the great work!I have attached the HDF file
i wish to use, if anybody would like to attempt it and let me know how they
achieved it!!

It is very simple.

You should edit the uaerc.wii configuration file and uncomment the line related
to the type of HDF file you would use; e.g.:

#Examples of hardfile (hard drive partition)
hardfile2=rw,DH0:/uae/harddisks/hardfile.hdf,32,1,2,512,0

Then you should put the HDF file in /uae/harddisks directory of the SD card (of
course the name of the file must be hardfile.hdf).

After starting UAE wii, you will find the icon disk in the workbench desktop.
