Checked, roundstart SMES settings should at least be good for this to work without needing things to change. Good to go for the intended purpose of voting to restore power for lowpop.
Substation SMES output by default, charging them all up works just fine to power the station. Plus APCs should all be charged up from the proc anyways.
The colony has shields, but it will not be affected by the removed bit since it needs to be wrenched down to take a charge. The shield room has two dedicated SMES for it anyways that will get fully charged by this.
... I don't know why the racial and race changes got added to this PR too since I opened the separate branch. Let me try to fix that.
Fixed. Now it's only the power vote.
Closing due to other Shenanigans, going to remake it to avoid the issues with the other PR's changes somehow appearing annoyingly.
About The Pull Request
Adds a simple vote whether or not to power the station. Useful for lowpop rounds with no engineers to keep the lights on. Basically just ported forward from Occulus minus the shields, since the colony doesn't have any. On passing, the vote triggers the same proc as an admin hitting the 'power all SMES' thing.
Useful for when we want to perform Shakespeare in the Park instead of Shakespeare in the Dark.
