Enhancement: Read Original Disks #119

This idea just popped out of my head....

What if you were able to add a feature to the WiiSX that would let you read 
original copies of ps1 games by putting the original game into the Wii disc 
slot?

By the way this isn't an issue,I just thought it would be a cool feature.

The Wii drive reads only DVD disc format.
CD can't be read by the Wii, it's a physical limitation.

What's wrong with using a 32GB SDHC card (since the wii supports them)? It's 
less wear and tear than using a DVD-R for PSX games, right?

I use a 16GB USB Stick on my Wii with no problems. Actually seems to run faster 
then SD/SDHC. Games that dont run well on SD work better on USB if anything 
same or better then actual Disk
