Can't sync calendar with Office 365

Lightning 5.4 Thunderbird 52.0 Exchange EWS Provider 3.9.0

I attempt to sync with an existing shared calendar with new calendar -> On the network -> Exchange -> Microsoft Office. I get Error during checking of server and mailbox: "HTTP Client error 401: Unauthorized URL:https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx" The same Thunderbird correctly downloads and syncs the very same mailbox. Password is complex and contains ! and @ symbols, but I never get the chance to input it, it just fails. Any suggestion?

Same issue here. My account kept getting lock at my work, instaling 3.9.0y fixed it.

You don't seem to be aware that this fork of exchangecalendar has been abandoned. A new one, including the rkent's fix in 3.9.0y has been ported to a new fork: https://github.com/ExchangeCalendar/exchangecalendar

The latest version there is 4.0.0-beta4.

Thanks for pointing this out @enozkan . 3.9.0y also worked for me (Linux, Thunderbird 52.2.0, Lightning 5.4), but I switched to the new fork you mentioned and just installed 4.0.0-beta4 which also seems to work.

@moofatech I already use exchangecalendar-v4.0.0-beta4.xpi (probably I downloaded from https://github.com/ExchangeCalendar/exchangecalendar/releases) with Thunderbird 52.3.0 (looks like not the latest - I got thunderbird from https://sourceforge.net/projects/ubuntuzilla/files/mozilla/apt/pool/main/t/thunderbird-mozilla-build/ I think) then I hold its version with "sudo apt-mark hold thunderbird" - to prevent updating addons frequently. Lightning is 5.4.3 for me (not sure where I got it from, maybe http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/calendar/lightning/candidates/ ). Using an Ubuntu 16.04 variant.

I was also only to get this to work using the version that was provided by abioneperobby. However, I am still unable to view my event from thunderbird onto hotmail. Has anyone been able to get this to work? Chad
