Embedded Web AppBuilder 2.2 app issue #30

Story map hung when trying to load eambedded Web AppBuilder 2.2 app. It seems that the Splash Screen widget in the new Web AppBuilder is causing problem. Turning off the splash screen make the problem go away. I understand embedding another app is not recommended but it is a very nice function and was working before. Thanks.

I am having the same issue currently. I know you posted this 4 years ago, but was there ever a resolution...and do you remember what it might have been? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
