Reminders non-functional: Etar 1.0.35, Android 13 #1456

Hi, I see other old issues listed but this only happened recently for me not in a previous version, nor am I using some old or esoteric Android version.

I checked that Etars permissions haven't been auto-pruned like Android likes to do, it still had notification permission.

Device: Samsung A51 OS: Android 13, OneUI 5.1 Etar: 1.0.35

As far I'm aware I haven't had any problems until version 1.0.35.

If there's some way I can gather information that might help please let me know.

P.S. I missed the rubbish truck because of this issue 🤣.

Update: I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Etar and reminders seem to be working now. Maybe there's something in the updating, or perhaps Etar background tasks die over time despite power optimisation being completely disabled?

I am having the same issue with 1.0.38 and Android 14 (Pixel 6a with up-to-date Graphene OS). The notifications were flawless but have become unreliable a few months ago (I'm not sure exactly when). All battery optimization are disabled, and all permissions are granted. This is very impacting for me, as this is the only calendar app I really like and I rely heavily on reminders. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall, and I noticed an improvement but it didn't last.

I too experience this issue or something similar. Would love to see this fixed.

I get notifications well after events are over, in duplicate (sometimes more). And they are never on time, reminders or the event start.

I am using Etar provided CalyxOS 5.2.0. All permissions are granted, Unrestricted battery usage, etc.

I also have trouble loosing notifications from time to time. I cannot say exactly when, but with battery optimization disabled I still miss notifications every now and then. It feels like being more when I didn't open Etar for some time (days?).
