Add participants after an event was created with no participants #974

When you create an event you can add participants, but is it also possible to at participants after you created an event with no participants? It seems that the field is missing where you can insert new participants (so that you can invite them by mail).

The Guests field appears to do that. I don't know if it emails people but it said "updates will be sent". I added my email address as a guest. There is a new option on the event that is asking me if I'm attending.

I see this bug as well, and I've narrowed down when it does and does not happen. Specifically, the "Guests" field disappears after the event is synced to a DAVx calendar.

Here's how I reproduce it:

  1. Create new event on a DAVx calendar. I see the "Guests" field. Hit Done.
  1. Before Etar has synced the DAVx calendar, I can still go back to the saved event and add guests:
Click the event, hit the pencil icon to edit... and I'll still see the "Guests" field.
  1. But after Etar has synced the DAVx calendar, you can no longer add guests:
Syncs automatically if you wait, or if you force refresh Return to edit, and the "Guests" field is replaced by "Attending?"

For me it seems this has something to do with an event having a location set or not / how long the location string is.
