Is there a way to disable the link parser? #227

I would like to turn off the link parsing feature from 2.12. However, I did not see an option to do so in the config, nor did I see any reference to disabling it in the code.

Did I miss something?

In fact there's no way to disable links at the moment. I'll leave this open so I can implement that.
