Describe the bug

Infernal Kiln multiblock smelter does not have all generic smelting recipes.

Notable exceptions are all smelting recipes that produce native ore clusters.

Quest book presents Infernal Kiln as complete replacement of other smelting options but the lack of recipes makes this false.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Look for smelting recipe that produces native ore clusters
  2. See that there is no equivalent recipe for the Infernal Kiln

Expected behaviour

Infernal Kiln multiblock should be able to process all generic smelting recipes.

Importing all Recipes from the Vanilla Furnace would definitely impact performance a bit and would also be a challenging task.

So please, make sure to report more important recipes not added to it :)

I'll be updating the quest text to reflect this scenario and also adding those clusters recipes that you've mentioned to it.

So if we're picking recipes for the Infernal Kiln: It cannot produce metal ingots from the sources players have access to, just Thaumcraft ore clusters, Mekanism ores and dusts, Libvulpes/advanced Rocketry ores & dust, etc.. Other furnaces can smelt Gregtech crushed ores/dusts etc. into their respective ingots unless another recipe (blast furnace etc.) has been defined.

With the ContentTweaker clusters and Gregtech dust/crushed ores to ingots it can be a part of the custom ore processing chain but in its current state it can be used to make steel (its one distinguishing feature), cook food (something like 1/4th of the recipes is Pam's Harvestcraft fish and other foods), smooth stone, Ceramics mod items, terracotta and not much else.

Actually, took some time to investigate this properly and now MOST recipes should be doable with it =)

Most stuff should be imported automatically now, although some really edge cases may still require a manual addition.

Installed 1.3.0 there are still gaps and inconsistencies. Basic GregTech metals (copper, tin, lead, etc.) can only be smelted from their base ores. Ore processing products cannot be used in the Infernal Kiln.

Iron and Gold support some of the ore processing intermediary and end products but not all. Example: Crushed Banded Iron smelts to 1 iron ingot, ordinary Crushed Iron is not supported. Additionally the kiln can smelt Banded Iron in its crushed and centrifuged forms but not its purified crushed, or impure, purified, or final dust forms. Plain GregTech Iron Ore can only be smelted in its base ore and final completely purified Iron Dust form but none of the intermediary processing stages.
