I think the new windows version broke the ddrawcompat wrapper 0.5.1 cause when I try to run the game it doesn’t open and if I look in task manager the game shows up under the background task list instead of the apps list. So maybe Microsoft broke something cause I can run the game with the voodoo wrapper option but man it runs so much worse than ddrawcompat. Hopefully this helps in anyway as I use your widescreen fix all the time and I love it and it’s so important to giving the game life again. It can’t be the graphics driver rtx 4070 cause I have another computer that’s still on 23H2 and I update that graphics driver without updating to 24H2 and it runs fine under ddrawcompat.

I haven't received the 24h2 update yet so if anyone else with it could weigh in that'd be great.

I'm not sure how to actually install the ddrawcompat manually 😅 I'll try to install it manually

so the dll file didn't fix the game and still just loads in the background without showing up on the desktop. Seems to be a Direct Draw issue that microsoft broke
